You may recall that Sony was preparing a pair of high-end models called Yuga and Odin. Well it turns out that supposedly Yuga was renamed with the name of the Sony Xperia Z and Odin is now Sony Xperia ZL.
The reason is that the Sony Xperia Z, will be available only in the Japanese market, while the slightly more elegant Sony Xperia ZL, will be available for sale worldwide. Besides being slightly thinner, the Xperia ZL, also has a front chamber to the right down the device instead of in the upper and in the other model.
Sony has yet to announce the official specifications of the device, but the information round the Internet states that both models offer a 5-inch LCD screen with a density of 1080, at 441ppi, with a quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 .
We’d bet that will be the model Qualcomm APQ8064, who would be doing the heavy lifting, while the part of the graphics, which would play Areno320 visual functions. Both models are rumored to have 2 GB of RAM and a 13 MP camera with Exmor sensor RS in the back. Android 4.1.2 is pre-installed and connectivity LTE is expected to be included as well.
A recent note xperiablog had mentioned that Sony introduced the Sony Xperia Z at CES 2013, in Las Vegas on January 8, and then launch a week later, on January 15, 2013.
As we approach the CES 2013, hopefully Sony reveals any word, about his two newest smartphones.
