MacBook Pro 2012: Will Retina Screens Raise the Price?

Has been known for a few days, the MacBook Pro 2012 should incorporate Retina screens, at least as an option. ButApple being Apple , the MacBook Pro will obviously see their prices rise. According to Richard Shim, an analyst at DisplaySearch, it will cost about 160 dollars more on the version of 15-inch MacBook Pro 2012 for the Retina display, and $ 134 for 13 inch version.

Side of the resolution, the 15-inch increase to 2880 x 1800 (220 dpi) against 1440 x 900 (110 dpi) currently. The 13 inch would be entitled to the 2560 x 1600 (227 dpi) while it is now 1280 x 800 (127 dpi).Remains to be seen what Apple wants tariff policy applied to its new MacBook Pro , but it was a little scared that the price difference directly affects the consumer. Some would argue that the benefit of a screen’s worth Retina, so hopefully the Cupertino company prefers to offer this development option.

  1. Speakers took much larger space on the keyboard sides. I hate it. The rest is very good.

  3. we should also consider tat they are dropping the optical drive and the ethernet ports, not to mention the old screen. i read an article that the new screen will be 100 dollars more than the old one. they are also including a solid state drive. i hope that it will not raise the prices too
