IPhone 4S Released: AT & T Sold 200,000 iPhone 4S in First 12 hours After Released

Despite the alleged deception that led to the presentation of the iPhone 4Ssales of Apple’s new phone does not seem that will be resent . AT & T says it has sold over 200,000 units of the new iPhone in the first 12 hours and ensured that there was an “extraordinary demand” for the device.

iPhone 4S was launched last Tuesday and a revolutionary design expectations after 15 months of development led to an apparent disappointment among their fans.

AT & T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint, operators marketing the device, began receiving on Friday requested by the device over the Internet , and so far sales figures are not likely to be as good as those of their predecessors.

Comparisons of the success of the device are difficult, because the iPhone now has three telephone operators and previously was only one. Last year, AT & T was the only operator selling the phone .

But the previous generation device, the iPhone 4 , the smart phone was the fastest selling in Apple’s history, with 1.7 million phones sold in the first three days.

The Wall Street Journal analysts believe that equipment upgrades and improvements to the software , including a voice recognition system that has received good reviews, could attract buyers.

Estimates vary, but some analysts estimate that Apple will sell 27 to 28 million iPhones in the quarter October to December. The recent iPhone 4S will go on sale worldwide on Oct. 14 .

The Android-powered phones are still a hard competition for smartphones from Apple . The new company’s chief executive, Tim Cook, took office last August with the resignation of Steve Jobs.

Some analysts have suggested that many consumers would be attracted by the idea of getting the latest phone introduced before thedeath of the creator of the Cupertino company, which would generate a surge in sales.
